Welcome to Vertex Foods FAQ – Our products are made for the BUSY person who is trying to BALANCE the demands of their profession with achieving optimal health, fitness + energy.  Lets answer some of your most pressing questions below.

Q1:  What type of ingredients go into your foods & beverages?

A1:  In all of our products, we use only the highest quality protein and ingredients.  To feel good, perform well, and look great, it’s necessary to give your body high quality fuel.  This means NO sugar alcohols, NO artificial sugars, NO GMO ingredients, NO lactose, NO casein,  NO High fructose corn syrup, NO preservatives, NO dried milk.

Q2:  I have dairy allergy – which protein items can I order?

A2:  Use the Paleo egg white protein and the amp bars have NO cows milk ingredients.

Q3:  I am vegan/vegetarian -which to order?

A3:  Use the plant/collagen based protein.  Our amp bars are vegetarian friendly made with plant protein!

Q4:  Other protein powder I have tried tastes chalky – what about yours?

A4:  WE HATED those proteins too!  that is main reason we started our own line of protein foods – all the bad tastes, dangerous ingredients that made us I’ll + gross textures that made us not stick to our healthy eating plan.

Q5:  When will my order ship?

A5:  Orders require custom made production – we make all  our foods and beverages from scratch based on all VIP and athlete orders.  Once custom production is completed in 3-5 days – your items ship USPS priority mail which takes 2-5 days shipping. Only other reason a delay occurs is from a backorder or holiday shipping delays with USPS carriers.

Q6:  When will I get my amp bars?

A6:  Bar orders are placed every Thursday to our Amish country bakers. They ship to us then we package and ship to you.  Plan on 8-10 days turnaround.

Q7:  How many flavors do you offer?

A7:  We have over 100+ flavors of our protein shakes available year round and our bar flavors change every 2 weeks so we can get thru all 100 flavors over a year.

Q8:  Will you only have bar flavors once a year?

A8:  Yes for most flavors.  But the super popular flavors like classic choc-chip, CHOC butterfinger, Sea salt caramel show up once a QTR. for sale. So be sure to stock up on your favorite flavors.

 Q9:  How can I change my shake flavor on auto ship each month?

A9:  you can send us a message with which flavors to change to using the link at bottom of our website to send us a message to change your flavor pre-production.

Q10:  How long does your protein powder last?

Q10:  Most ingredients can last up to 2 yrs. in our protein powders with the exception of fresh flax meal – this needs refrigerated to prolong shelf life if you won’t be consuming w/in the month.

Q11:  What if I have a deadly allergy like to nuts?

A11:  Even though we made our foods for a variety of food-allergies, we do not take strict precautions with nut allergies.  so serious food allergies pls avoid our foods.

VERTEX Foods was founded by former star athlete, Fortune 500 executive, ex-military, celebrity personal trainer, sports nutrition expert + NBC personality, Todd Williams. The frustrations experienced in finding healthy and convenient meals and snacks while on-the-go, that not only boost energy but help to manage weight, revealed that there was a real need in the marketplace for a new type of product and company.  Not only should quick, healthy meals and snacks have a stellar nutritional profile, but most of all, they should taste really, really, REALLY good!
